P&O Comet 2.2.0

The Clinical Outcome Measures Electronic Toolkit (COMET) serves as a comprehensive resource featuring a collection of fifteen clinically relevant outcome measures specifically designed for prosthesis and orthosis (P&O) users and healthcare professionals. By streamlining the selection and administration of these measures, COMET facilitates a standardized approach to integrating outcome assessments into daily clinical practice. Practitioners benefit from the toolkit's user-friendly interface, which enables them to select the pertinent measure, conduct the necessary tests, and promptly obtain results in a printable/exportable PDF format. This functionality supports evidence-based clinical decision-making and enhances the documentation process within patients' electronic health records.

The development of COMET was made possible through collaborative funding sources, including pilot grants from the Center for O&P Learning (COPL), financed by the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association (AOPA), alongside internal support from Orthocare Innovations, LLC. Additionally, the implementation of multi-lingual support was funded by the National Institute On Minority Health And Health Disparities of the National Institutes of Health under Award Number R43MD018240.
